me (can't vote in own poll): #1. very much so. lamenting over "why isn't there a single weekly digest aimed at not wasting my time with any randomness/slow-drip to free up a ton of my time?". realized answer might be that people aren't as frustrated as me. true?

wasn't familiar with either- but I think the HN example is more my speed. the point is- it's not nec. that I want consolidation / greater density. It's that I don't want the weird realtime, keep-coming-back-ness that most aggregators have by default.

by _default_, I'd be way more happy to engage with them. even a simple "don't show me what I've already seen" would make using them so much better. but instead, everything new is mixed deep in old shit, making me the perfect fool stuck in a stupid skinner box.

hah sorry for rambly rant. 280 chars was prob a bad idea for me :P. tl;dr: I'm working through articulating my frustration with being captive to something that seems has an _obviously_ preferred-by-all alternative: concise delivery of content over realtime noise.
