wasn't familiar with either- but I think the HN example is more my speed. the point is- it's not nec. that I want consolidation / greater density. It's that I don't want the weird realtime, keep-coming-back-ness that most aggregators have by default.

like, I _constantly_ re-open facebook, twitter, various reddit pages, NYT, etc... to make sure I don't miss anything. but that's stupid, because I don't _actually_ care about missing anything on these platforms. but if instead they were architected like the HN newsletter, /
