Does anyone know how to figure out why a Windows machine would hard crash out of the blue every few hours?

Bad RAM was the assumed culprit when my last desktop started doing that. Or overheating.

Overheating maybe? Could check that the cooling is working as intended?

Hm yeah, could be. Wasn't doing anything really intensive the times it crashed. Will look if all the fans are still working

Start, Event Viewer. Look for any right before the failure. 99% of the time its the Ram or less likely SSD / overheating.
