My goal was and has been to make an income from my own products and not from client services. (I love serving people and helping them, but I’ve never been particularly fond of the mercenary life.) Back then I didn’t know what to charge, just copied a friend’s rate ($75/hr).

At first I only did design for clients, and would code my designs for them when they wanted to pay for the time. I didn’t even know how send an invoice or what it had to say on it. Now it’s me +

Benedict joining was the best thing to ever happen. Having a partner you fully trust, who balances you out and helps work through the hard questions, is amazing. Especially after years of doing things solo and making all the mistakes that comes with that. I fucked up lots.
