That’s a great way of putting it. Always loved Dan’s city notes, and tried pushing friends to build a similar city list thing years ago... highly curated lists around a specific purpose or job.

I think there needs to be more editorial involved with these. There’s enough data-focused approaches, or at least ones that structure the data in a pretty standard way. Brendan and I used to talk a lot about a yelp-style site which asked more unique questions, for example.
