It really depends on your learning style. I’d find someone who has some experience and teach you the very basics. While many books are outdated, they still have valuable knowledge for someone starting out. Some of these may make not much sense if you have zero knowledge, however.

Sklansky’s Theory of Poker is a solid all around one. There are more important books once you dive deeper. When that’s the case, ping me again and I can give more recommendation. Playing/watching/analyzing is going to be most important.
