But the social cost of a physical attack is insanely high. Whereas what is happening in the informational attack is not recognized as an attack so the social cost is ~0 relative
I mean, they're not even in the same scape - they're incomparable is what I mean. One is a direct physical assault on peoples' health/well-being and the other is a soft attack with the desired outcome being a less functional government.
I agree that it's the central problem of the decade - it's leading to unrest around the globe that could built into physical war, but to pose it as an alternative to physical war is silly hyperbole to me - nobody is asking humans to sacrifice their bodies in service of this yet
