      Current ORD is departing aircraft using 10L only. There’s a handful of of aircraft out there but they seem to be moving them. This is why precanceling flight is so important. Helps avoid a really bad situation on the ground.

      Conditions are so bad at ORD that aircraft are going over their anti-ice hold over times and making it to the runway and having to go back to the gate to get sprayed again. This with just a few aircraft moving around on the ground.

      Copa 235 from PTY is on the ground. This is definitely the last passenger arrival for a while. Things are still very nasty on the ground. Many aircraft slowly getting all the way to runway and needing to taxi back for deicing.pic.twitter.com/0LqGBI9GPQ

      AeroMexico 660 just landed from GDL. Said the approach was rough and braking action was medium. A few other arrivals are in a hold right now. Seems like things should slowly improve here with a very reduced schedule.

      Things haven’t improved much at ORD. 2nd tier ground stop and what appears to be a single arrival runway are making operations challenging. Average delay is about 1.5 hours and that’s with many cancelations.pic.twitter.com/wCD4xfjSZ1

      Looks like ORD is using 2 arrival runways and most airborne holds have been cleared for approach. This should allow for the 2nd tier ground stop to be lifted soon. Things are improving!
