Is there any reason to not build most of a game inside a Unity ui canvas? Working on a prototype and slowly more and more of the game is moving into a canvas and I'm wondering if I'm shooting myself in the foot

I feel like unity UI + lots of dynamic content has had performance issues in the past? I haven't checked in ages though

Remedy Rush was made entirely with unity UI. Game flopped but didn’t see any problematic perf issues!
