Is there any reason to not build most of a game inside a Unity ui canvas? Working on a prototype and slowly more and more of the game is moving into a canvas and I'm wondering if I'm shooting myself in the foot
Interesting! I could kinda see it getting unwieldy as a project grows

wait, i feel like the biggest issue was render order being based on hierarchy and not z depth? i think at the time i either had to rewrite shaders, or just stop using canvases, and i decided to stop using canvases
