I have no idea how this happened but if you look up “first world problem” on Merriam-Webster dictionary the entry uses a quote from one of my old ass articles as a sample sentence. Bruh.

You can see American media bias in the headline language. They use passive voice anytime a car or police gun hurt/kill someone, and are always going to bat for corporations and bosses by running stories about how the young/poor don't want to work anymore.

My tweet about Japan being iphone centric has gained slight traction among Japanese Twitter users, and surprised to see many say they wish for a more diverse phone scene.

Give me three more day I’ll do a side by side real world camera test at night using IMX989 vs S23 Ultra’s HP2
Quote Tweet
Seeing some comparisons, for the daily mode of the main camera, the image quality and details of the S23 Ultra HP2 still cannot be compared with the IMX989(Xiaomi and vivo ). But maybe the visual perception will be a little better.

Dog was running around loose and owner couldn't get him so everyone from cops to old ladies to women were helping surround the dog, who wasn't scared or annoyed but was having fun lol

There's this area in Osaka named America Mura which is apparently a shrine to all things American culture but it's *mostly* just black American culture like NBA and hip hop stuff

I was watching that 70s show and even early seasons married with children (in late 80s) and there was a lowkey anti-japanese sentiment, conveyed via jokes about Japanese tech taking over, said by the head of household (Red and Al). Japan was that big a tech threat to US then

This is how a tech titan in the 80-90s fall behind US, China and Korea: Japanese tech firms completely missed the boat on the smartphone era. Unfathomable if someone had told you in 1996 Japanese cell phones would be irrelevant throughout 2010s-2020s

Japan is so iphone centric it's crazy. Like even more so than the US and probably anywhere else on earth. You walk into a carrier and it's 99% iphone advertisements and product placements. No Sony or Pixel at all. Samsung is in a corner.

Isn't it nice when cities are designed for pedestrians, cyclists and cars equally and there is a culture of respect so cars don't make cyclists feel unsafe and cyclists don't make pedestrians feel danger? Wish we had that in America

I still think airpods Pro 2 are better buy they're smaller sleeker same battery life superior audio quality AND CHEAPER. The ANC isn't as good as Bose's but it's like 83% as good? Unless you live in loud places like Hong Kong, the airpods Pro ANC prob good enough

Even when there's like clear photo evidence, all the comments to this tweet is just some form of "well actually" in defense of iphone. Not surprised, I been saying this (with photo samples as evidence) since like 2019 and people accused me of nationalistic bias

So, when I was in hawaii for a layover earlier I paid 22 bucks for a loco moco. I got to Osaka, first meal was soba with shrimp tempura, US$3.75 This why it’s been so hard for me adjusting to US prices after living in Asia for so long 😭 😭

So food prices in US are like double or triple what they cost in Asia (I ain't even talking developing countries, but even like in Tokyo and Seoul, food is like 40% of what US charges). So being in Hawaii is odd because it looks and feels like Asia, but prices remain US prices

Obviously I haven't been to every US airport so I can't say literally "all" but every US airport I've been to only has one coffee option and it's Starbucks. Like c'mon man this monopoly shit is sad. It's like if all the food is McDonald's. Give us alternatives

Putting together a review video that will go live in a few days, but this was the video I shot in Monterey Park the day of the shooting. In the first pic, Star Dance ballroom is just another 100 feet down from my scooter and the second video is in the Chinese New Year parade.

The way some Americans, including apparently Steph, are constantly opposing apartment complexes and train stations because they want to protect their quiet, empty (aka boring) suburb is infuriating. Housing problems, global warming and Americans insist on living with excess

Steph Curry has joined a small but powerful group of his neighbors in Atherton, California, in opposing the one thing poised to destroy life as they know it: a 16-unit apartment building trib.al/85oxF0J

I don't like windows, and US$3500 is a bit crazy high. But I'd legit buy a $2500 version of this running Android. And when apple makes a 20-inch ipad that folds 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I absolutely love the concept of the Asus ZenBook 17 Fold. Look at all the different ways I can use it, from having the largest screen at this coffee shop full of digital nomads to having a huge tablet to a small laptop, in a package that fit in a bag

This is a good idea -- denser neighborhoods have more energy life culture -- but I know the usual suburb Californains are gonna scoff at having buildings taller than 25 feet.

Now that the state has revoked Cupertino's zoning authority, if I were Apple, I would be submitting chinese-style high rise apartment complexes right now on Apple land to deal with the workforce housing shortage. Once in a lifetime chance.
