Richard Feynman found trigonometry notation to be ambiguous and confusing.

sure lol i just think sometimes people get carried away with feynman's 'genius' .. not saying you or @fermatslibrary is doing it .. but people invent their own notation for whatever reason, and i don't think this requires any particular genius

The worst is when people use BOTH cos²(x) to mean (cos(x))² AND cos⁻¹(x) to mean arccos(x).
