I think this is absolutely what the Government are up to - they don’t want young Brits experiencing European culture, because it will make them want to reverse Brexit.

There are hundreds of people now dead, who would be alive if the people arguing against locking down had behaved differently. We need to know who those people in Government were, and hold them to account.

When this is over, we need a public inquiry. We need to know who knew what, and when. And we need to know who the voices in Cabinet were, arguing against locking down on 19/12, then 26/12, then 30/12 as cases increased, before agreeing on 4/1.

Welcome to a preview of the UK’s public debate in 6 weeks from now. (Ignoring the Brexit angle) The most entitled generation in history, at the front of the queue for vaccination, demanding to know why everything isn’t open for them to enjoy as normal.

The whole Government (the entire cabinet) has resigned, because of their poor handling of something which had a negative impact on thousands of families. Sadly, this was in the Netherlands, not the UK.

We have seen a 38% increase in child poverty over the last 10 years. Please stop voting Tory. It is not good for our country.

You’d hate an Australia-style deal. They would seize your ham sandwich, AND fine you for not declaring it. In New Zealand, you’d be in bigger trouble than that - and certainly talking to the police. The EU single market is a miracle - and we are mad to have left it.

And of course, has huge media reach and following, all by himself. He doesn't need the mainstream media to get his message out - and when he speaks, it is "news" by definition. Even manages to make football fans not completely hate a Man U player!

Agree with all of this - Rashford is a nightmare opponent for the Government. Came from poverty (so can't be accused of being a hypocrite); now has a good lifestyle (so has no need and nothing personal to gain from doing this).

The Chartwells/Compass free school meals package scandal is a teachable moment about capitalism. 1/ Why do so many families need free school meals? Because real wages have stagnated while profits soared...

The FA Cup does strange things to people. Not sure I want to live in a world where Jose Mourinho is being held up as a shining example of good grace, sportsmanship, and everything that’s good about football!

Walking around London, it's clear that we've reached the limits of what workplaces government can close. If by 'limits' you mean 'nowhere near' and 'can close' you mean 'is willing to adequately compensate'.
