Pumped for my friends at Bloomfilter unveiling certain pieces of their product today! thebloomfilter.com
For those using Jira cloud + point based scrum, you can even connect your Jira projects/historic data to get a health check of your software dev life cycle -- very cool!

Was this draft created in 2021 and just hit send now? 🤣
I've started saying "prototyping" more, instead of "iterating", after I learned something from .
Prototyping means trying wildly different options that cover more possibilities to discover what works.
Iterating implies gradual change down one path we're already on.

Holy... moly.
I am today years old when I realized that Tom from Office Space is 100% absolutely, without a doubt a Product Manager.

Not only that, but he asked me, “In your book… you talked about selling a product before it exists. What do you mean?”
HE IS READING MY FREAKING BOOK! 🤯
(One I wrote a long time ago about raising startup seed capital outside of of a major tech hub).

Throwback to one of my fav episodes from 2022 -- which happened to be one of the last -- where we *actually* interview ChatGPT.
Not just talk about ChatGPT...
But literally *interview* ChatGPT. 😆

If you were expecting a punchline to all of this (if you even got that far)... there isn't one.
I legitimately saw the real Santa Claus.
That's it. That’s the story. And it’s a true one.
Merry Christmas, everyone. 🎄
Show this thread
Santa Claus is real.
No, he doesn't come and leave gifts and eat our cookies.
But I know what I saw. I saw *him*.
Maybe it's "the spirit of Santa Claus" or whatever. But you can’t convince me otherwise that it isn’t real…

To this day, I can't rationally explain it.
A hoax? No way.
A dream? Maybe, I guess. The most realistic and vivid one I've ever had in 41 years.
What I believe is more likely is something else altogether. And… it’s something you just have to… believe…

When I was an older kid... and then as a teen... and then as an adult...
I asked them if they remembered that Christmas. They always did, and just remember thinking I was making up a story...
Each time, I assure them I did no such thing. I know what I saw...

My parents always got the gifts.
They always wrote those letters.
Ate the cookies.
But they didn't pull off some elaborate hoax w/ a giant, sparkling sleigh + 8 live reindeer on our roof in the middle of the night. Heck, my dad's fear of heights wouldn't let him if wanted to...

I burst out and admitted to my parents what I saw. I corroborated the letter because I *saw* the reindeer. And Rudolph wasn't there.
They looked at each other and smiled.
Of course, they knew that *they* wrote the letter. They figured I just made up a story.
Except I didn't...

There was a letter from Santa, as there always was, next to the plate of cookie crumbs and the empty glass of milk.
We read it, and it said how we were good, etc etc... but then something in the letter blew me away.
"Rudolph couldnt make it this year. He had a cold"...

I was too scared to tell my parents about it. I don't know why... it just felt like I broke the rules somehow. So when I woke up, I just kept that to myself and went on with Christmas.
And of course, I got everything I wanted... including an NES. 🕹
And then, the letter...

I will never forget the look on his face. He scowled at me. This wasn't the jovial Santa you'd expect. He looked almost annoyed that I saw him.
So, immediately, I ducked down and buried my head under the covers until I fell back asleep...

The sleigh was just stunning. I saw Santa's giant bag. But I didn't see toys in the sleigh. Instead, it was overflowing with sparkling bells, jewels, and just... stuff. I can't even describe it. It just looked magical.
And yes, I saw Santa Claus. And he saw me…

Finally, I mustered up courage to slowly pull up the blinds… just enough for me to peek out.
When I did, I was floored. There it was. Santa’s sleigh. On my freaking roof.
Along with all of the reindeer (except Rudolph, which is important later), and yes… Santa Claus…

I woke up in the middle of the night, and heard something out my window. My room was on the 2nd floor, and the window opened up onto the roof.
I remember being scared to even open my eyes… let alone look out my window. It was Christmas Eve night, after all…

Okay, a thread about Santa Claus.
I've told this story before. But tis the season.
So, when I was probably 7 or so... I saw the real Santa Claus. Like... really the real one. On my roof. With reindeer, and a sleigh, and everything.
Here’s the true story…

I meant to tweet this pic on Tuesday in celebration of it being one year since @sambarsness slid into my DMs and became my co-founder. But, we were so busy shipping things that I forgot. Classic. Happy co-founder-iversary, dude!

Hard things are the opportunity.
Pay attention to when you think, "that sounds like it's going to be hard" or "that sounds like a lot of work."
Everyone has those thoughts and most will stop there.
And that is your advantage.

Honestly, I support this. Sometimes, it’s easy to get overloaded with content. Take a break when you need to (even a long one).
Plus, there are 5 clear benefits when you do 👇🏻🧵

I stopped reading Product Twitter, Medium, Linkedin and even books for a week. And it turns out to be such a relief. Things look much simpler
There are just too many books, opinions, frameworks, and lessons
Take a break, make some notes, and that's it. Practise it. Stop Reading
