    Say hello to the new decal render mode! Procedural volumetric meshes can now be rendered as decals. Paint the world with the 2x multiplicative blend mode. Or create blob shadows with faded edges.

    Here is the 6502 microprocessor SVG file rendered as vector graphics in Slug at 4K resolution on a GeForce GTX 1060. The highest quality / slowest shader is enabled for good minification. There are 7 layers in this diagram, and they are rendered with 7 draw calls.

    This one always blew my mind. The Leibniz formula for π. 1 - 1/3 + 1/5 - 1/7 + 1/9 ... = pi / 4 So, this Python code approximates pi.

    I designed a hybrid value-gradient noise, in 1D. It uses a single hash evaluation per invocation, so it's cheaper than gradient and value noise. It has zeros like gradient noise, but the gradients are fixed and it's the value of the wave that is random:
