There's a little hitch right at the transition when the cubes disappear. It's bugging me. I thought it was an optical illusion, but I'm pretty sure now that it's my math. One easy fix is a sine in/out easing function. Here's that version while I work on the math for the other.pic.twitter.com/0oK4zJz4ml

That is probably it. I was just trying it experimentally (guess and check). I wanted to work out the correct math(s). I'm growing some cubes: scale(1 + t) and shifting all cubes (1 - 1/2t) There's a slope mismatch You already do this one. Want to just send me your code?

try scale(pow(2,t))... dunno about the shifting!
