My first curiosity was how different relative positions on the smol circles effect the visual. It appears at each time they're evenly distributed on the smol circles and the progression is "monotonic".

Was thinking the same thing. Maybe play around with rotational direction as well.

Nice!! Would it be hard to increase the number of circles so the central ellipse-ish shape is smoother? Intersections might be doing interesting things but my eyes would need help with that.
