I use Processing (http://processing.org ) — i believe there is a http://processing.py library but i have never used it

processing itself is more or less a subset of java plus a load of useful graphics functions, as far as i can tell

I'm familiar with it; for whatever reason Python resonated with my coding skills more, but I really should be paying attention to Processing too.
