Look after everyone you know who: -Needs an elevator to get in and out of buildings -Depends on a medical device that plugs into the wall -Drinks water from a well hooked up to an electric pump

That blew up! Support my radio station's pledge drive so we can keep paying hard-working people like the producer who chased this down: https://secure.kpfa.org/support/

Forever? I just saw it a few hours ago. :/
-
Our producer got this two hours ago, after spending about three hours on the phone with unhelpful emergency officials while waiting for the PG&E page to stop displaying an error message. I'm posting it now, because I don't spend every minute online, but it's still good info.
-
That’s the thing: our offices didn’t get this info until a few hours ago either despite trying to get answers from PG&E since yesterday. The lack of communication has made this very difficult to reach out to our constituents.

Do you know if anything will be added? We just found out for sure an hour ago that all of Humboldt county will be without power..
-
Oh wow, that's terrible. No idea.
-
Ferndale got notified according to my cousin there.
-
On the northern end of humboldt we didnt get a county notice till almost 7pm that this was a for sure thing.
-
Same for me in Humboldt County. Found out at 7, no idea if there's a community center and no time to prepare. This is BS.

“Pasta Moon Restaurant” definitely sounds like a place that’s equipped to cover an entire county’s emergency resource needs for five days /s

-
Pasta Moon is located in a small tourist town on the coast, near where I live. I’m so grateful for their service in all of this, and there’s no way they can accommodate all the folks who may need support. It may also be a significant drive for most folks who might need it.
-
It's like the picked the most remote place in San Mateo County! People going to drive to half moon bay to charge their phones? So crazy.
-
They could have picked Here Come the Sun in Montara! ;)

Lemme understand this Their one cooling center for a county of like a million and a half people is a 17,000 seat OUTDOOR STADIUM. If I worked for PG&E I’d tell my family my job was Pac-12 football ref
