    No, I do not have to and do not want to review every customer service interaction, every order and subscription. We are humans moving through life and we do not need a point out of 5 for every smile, nod and touch. Chances are your points are making everything worse, not better.

    I'm not bothered by that because I think design is less important or valuable. I'm bothered because it should have been a conscious choice, not something I was corralled into by the damn patriarchy.

    I was just reminded of time I was told by an engineering professor that I would be "the only girl in the class" and "this program is incredibly challenging" and how that probably was the moment I became a designer instead of an engineer.
