I really hope someone in the MIT CS department is RIGHT NOW advocating for Stallman’s old office to be turned into a women’s center with a lush, indoor garden.

If by invent, you mean took concepts that already existed and brought them into the software paradigm then okay. No individual's contributions justify the damage they do to others.... Especially when given a position of power they choose to abuse.
