I really want to thank the folks behind the scenes who made #EdmontonDirect possible. First are my amazing project managers @RiceRocketeer, Nick Diaz (http://twitch.tv/nickography ) & Wayne Thomas! These folks are the reason the ESIO was even able to bring the idea of the event to AESA

Their experience with GDX, working with the Government of Alberta, and esports tournaments saved my bacon more times than I can count. Even if it's just stopping scope creep, without these three, I would have probably gone insane. I highly recommend working with any of them!

I want to also thank @VictraGG for taking my call when I proposed an absolutely insane event considering the timeline. I can't believe we convinced
@ToastedBrad but I am so glad that we did. These two have done an immense amount of work for@EsportsAlberta and esports in Alberta.1 reply 0 retweets 7 likesShow this thread -
The folks at
@EsportsAlberta are all so incredibly passionate about growing esports in this province (even if@GamingStadiumCS seduces them in the middle of event prep) and you can tell that the minute you meet them. From their Board to their volunteers these folks are great.1 reply 0 retweets 6 likesShow this thread -
I think I could just continue to name every single person who is part of AESA, but I want to thank @efgc_dad for leading an incredibly talented media team to such levels of success,
@shadowmisstep for not only being a great panel guest but for rolling with several punches.1 reply 0 retweets 6 likesShow this thread -
I also need to thank
@PorzellanPNG for volunteering her entire living space to all the prizes and pieces for the event and for coming up with an absolutely amazing design for the UAlberta awards. If you want to support local, for sure check out her shop.1 reply 0 retweets 6 likesShow this thread -
I want to thank the rest of the
@CalderaInteract team as well for their support, with@gojeffcho representing on a panel, Mike Zerihoun for his help, Titus Lo for his amazing art, Isael Huard for letting me ask dumb audio questions and@bdotexe even though she's abandoning us
