Do the maths. There MUST be equal numbers of unmarried/unpartnered men and women. It's logic. Cheering up and trying harder are the only options. Rape, sex slavery, child brides, polygamy, arranged marriage & other means of forcing women to marry men they don't wish to are not on https://twitter.com/bcaton2/status/990869760115068928 …

"There MUST be equal numbers of unmarried/unpartnered men and women" a) Polygamy b) women can have partnerships outside of marriage - a few males with many partners is historically the normhttps://tierneylab.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/09/05/the-missing-men-in-your-family-tree/ …

Right. But who wants that? We're talking about stable, long term, monogamous faithful relationships. There are EQUAL numbers of men and women who lack that, by default. Except in China/India.

I don't think Incels are specifically lamenting being left out of long-term monogamous relationships at all. Most of their literature seems to be fixated on hating single, promiscuous/sexually successful people in the non-monogamous sexual marketplace.

So it's a bit like talking about "cripple literature" - a few people who are crippled on Reddit who think that being crippled is positive, & extrapolating that that therefore must be the norm amongst cripples everywhere. The number who have 'Incel' as an identity is microscopic.
