This episode is WILD. I can’t IMAGINE trying to design an experiment to induce deja vu. (Guess that’s why Anne is a neurologist and I am not.) I’ve always thought of it as passing through a fold in space-time where reality doubles back on itself. Thanks for the listen, as always.

I just listened to this. It would be nice to have link at the BBC page to listeners could come and discus it. Very interesting subject. I only had it a few times in my (now long) life, but it never seemed like a memory. So clear and there is the I know exactly what will happen!

My theory is that in that few seconds when I say I know I have done this is because what is happening in real time just goes through the memory part of the brain without delay. This however, does not explain the fact that I know what will happen.
