    And contradictory messaging from Afghan Government officials on ceasefire: reduction in violence, comprehensive ceasefire and humanitarian ceasefire. Nothing can be more effective than consistency! The Taliban knows that very well.

    I first reported on the Trump administration lowering the bar for avoiding civilian casualties while investigating the Jan. 2017 Navy SEAL raid in Yemen. Well done to for 3 years of persistence. A small step towards some accountability for the 10 children killed that night.
