It was my last day living in Rome. December & bitterly cold. His scarf, I think, & he wanted me to stay & move in. I was tempted. It was a fucking gorgeous apartment. So perhaps scarf awryness represents emotional ambivalence. Bet you wish you'd never mentioned it now ;)
