Toys r Us have been in trouble for a decade, well before Brexit was even a word!

Funny enough, tried to buy a gift just before Christmas last year at their store and asked if they could give a gift receipt for the purchase, and was told, we don't do that.. off went straight to the exit without buying. Crap policy and poor business model.

Ugly monolithic ghost-towns. Toys-R-Us, I mean. Never set foot in a Maplins. Like the dinosaurs, that super-giant model is dying out. More to come.

Quite apart from anything else, the UK has yet to leave the EU. You can blame Brexit for causing uncertainty and division, but little else up til now.

I have never been to Toys R Us. Their collapse is really just part of the fall out from US company same name failed a while ago. Business Model clearly failed. Many toy manufacturers now sell direct people. I like Maplin but knew in trouble as lots of things out of stock.
