Ain't Nokia though is it? Not really...

No, but it's quickly becoming one of those brands like Commodore, where it's merely flogging nostalgia in different guises
-
Is anybody buying it? I read that new one was due to 'customer demand'. WHO IS HE?
-
I've no idea. I've not seen anyone with a new Nokia device.
-
They sold 70m phones last year- most of them not the 3310 which was just a useful marketing gimmick
-
That's impressive. But where? I've never seen one on sale here yet alone someone using one.
-
They’re big in developing countries
-
Wonder how easy it is for a latecomer to straddle the big-cheap-commodity phone market and the £700 high end one. Get the impression too that without retailer/network support in the west it's hard to make inroads.

Nostalgia is lucrative
-
Is it? I haven't seen anyone with a Nokia phone since 2005.
-
maybe. I have seen people with the recent Nokia phones, I must confess. And nostalgia seems to be doing well in other areas, so maybe that's what they're trying to tap into
