Well the BT broadband fix lasted all of 3 days before it fell over again. Trying to get working internet in the rural UK is an utter joke.
You have my sympathy. Hear a lot of similar stories around here.

Given that rural businesses are going to have to file govt documents online by law you'd think someone somewhere would work out they're going to need reliable broadband to do it.

The Openreach/BT split simply seems to have given both the opportunity to blame each other for the cockups. Not done anything for the customer that I can see.

Every Openreach guy who turns up - and we've had a lot - says 'Why don't you have fibre? It's right outside the house?' BT just say... can't have it

Computer says no. Have heard stories of people digging their own trenches to convince BT to run the fibre.
