@BarryCollins Curve looks interesting. But do you still get the air miles and stuff from your other cards if you use them with it?

I have asked them that directly btw cos it's not covered in their FAQs. Sounds good but I see a couple of issues.

That's a very good question. It still appears as a transaction on your normal cards, so I can't see why not, but not 100% sure.

Also the Air Miles cards (which are bloody good value) don't charge a fee on foreign transactions. Looks as if Curve do 1% on that card anyway. But checking. Will let you know.

Short answer: you get your card benefits so long as they're not tied to specific retailers. You pay the 1% even if the card doesn't unless it's tied to the foreign currency

Interesting. Thanks. Didn't realise Amex wasn't supported. Will update.

Gotcha. My cards' FX fees are much higher than Curve's, so should hopefully reduce my costs.

The Avios cards are an absolute steal for £24 a year. You get loads of air miles and a free upgrade after a certain spend. https://www.avios.com/gb/en_gb/collect/lloydsbank/lloyds-avios-rewards-credit-card-account …
