Find it incredible some publications still endorse the Mac Mini. It was last updated in 2014. It runs fourth-gen Core i5 processors. It's effectively discontinued.

Yes but its the only Mac in the lineup with line out and line in separated. Immensley valuable in audio set ups

Mac Mini has always been the entry sale for the non mac user hence its low spec and I’m sure demand must still be there for that and audio. We’d be lost without it for our Skype Wall

Yes, but people don't know what they're buying. When you see Core i5 on the Apple website, you'd expect it to be the latest Core i5. Apple hides the fact it's four generations old technology.
