    BT launching 152 Mbits/sec (100 Mbits/sec guaranteed) and 314Mbits/sec broadband. £55 and £60 per month respectively. Ouch.

Just got an email from Virgin upping my speed to 100mbit, no price change from thirty quid/mo #smugtwat

Jesus. You must be the lucky one. I hear more Virgin horror stories than a Club 18-30 rep.

Would be nice if they could first deliver a reliable broadband service to my flat without it dropping out every hour or so. Baby steps, eh?

Hard to see who really needs 100Mbits/sec+ currently anyway.

To be fair, that’s what many pay here in the States for regular broadband and it’s not much slower than a commercial-grade server!
