iOS 11 doesn’t appear to have destroyed the iPad. Not sure the Dock or the app selector thingy really add anything. All a bit ho hum.

So an OS that felt nippy and stripped back now in many cases feels sluggish because response times are so slow.

I haven’t put it on my Air 2 yet, but it’s just lovely on iPad Pro (2nd gen). As you would hope!

I’ve not updated that one yet. I can’t imagine that well, since mine isn’t overly thrilled about running iOS 10.

Doubly so now it’s not possible to use the Mac to browse and buy new iOS apps. Oh well, I had three(ish) years of iPad not making me sick.

I hear you for certain tasks, but the gestural stuff for setting up two or three apps on iOS 11 is really nice (on large iPads, anyway).

Still prefer multiple desktops, windows, and having a pointer on a Mac, though.

Two-up is useful for quite a few tasks. Where iOS 11 falls short is in how drag and drop affects so much else. It feels slow.
