and I’m not saying *not* to buy it. I’m saying not to sign up to the carriers.

Aye, I get that. Just fed up of reading pieces from folks who've spent ten mins with something and tell readers to buy right away.

tbf, if the data price were reasonable, or zero, I’d be saying to buy it too. Leave the phone at home.
-
I think the value of that £5/mo will vary depending on whether you make use of unlimited data and stream a lot of Apple Music, though?
-
No. As I say in the piece, if you’re using data on Watch, you’re not using it on phone. It’s substitutive, not additive.
-
Does EE already give you unlimited streaming from Apple Music on a regular data contract?
-
don’t know. Is this promising unlimited? I don’t think people would get close to bothering it. You’d need to be streaming full-time.
-
I thought you’d said it was unlimited in your article but I think I misinterpreted that; if it’s not then you’re right, there’s no advantage
-
FWIW though I often burn through my monthly data cap, primarily with Apple Music - I’d definitely value unlimited streaming.
-
the unlimited thing came from someone on Twitter. But I can’t find the detail. Will regress.
