Corbyn has 3 more seats than Brown in 2010, in what was much more of a two-horse race. He didn't do well. He outperformed low expectations.

You're underplaying some big pluses though - vote share and the big turnout for Labour by young'uns. Would the kids show for Burnham etc?

I agree to an extent. I'm not a JC fan but even three months ago nobody could guess he'd have caught up in the polls. That is impressive
