You're underplaying some big pluses though - vote share and the big turnout for Labour by young'uns. Would the kids show for Burnham etc?

Labour and Tories need to reclaim middle ground. Both heading for the extremes.

I agree to an extent. I'm not a JC fan but even three months ago nobody could guess he'd have caught up in the polls. That is impressive
