Two big questions on Sky Q going broadband-only: Will streamed sports suffer a buffering lag? Will the broadband networks cope?
It's the way things are heading. Pretty sure aerials and satellites will be all but obsolete in a decade's time.

But it could be the stimulus needed for better broadband provision to all households. Sky can afford their own network.

Can't see Sky making a fibre network. Will piggyback off BT. Bandwidth definitely an issue, but this is direction of travel.

And remember, even those who have BT fibre, 75mbit/s equates only to about 8mb/s and with HDR and 4K looking, won't be enough.
