That is, with respect, incredibly arrogant. The vast majority of people knew what they were voting for.
And one of the strong reasons people voted out is because they felt they weren't being listened to.

Valid to reject, but morally dubious, stores problems and opens door for extremism.

Calling the referendum was wrong because it wouldn't produce a meaningful choice.

Pretending the choice was meaningful doesn't fix the error, it compounds it.
