What do you mean "now we know the truth"?

You said "both sides were lying through their teeth". Seems to me campaign lies have now been exposed.

And you didn't figure that out before the vote? Name me one Election where everything said in the campaign was true.

I figured it out. I'm not sure everyone did. Stakes are extremely high and nothing truly irreversible has happened yet.

That is, with respect, incredibly arrogant. The vast majority of people knew what they were voting for.

I'd rather deal with consequences of Brexit, than 52% of country (rightly) believing their opinion was ignored.

Referendum results often don't translate directly into action. It's one factor and a changing situation.

By that rationale, it would have been legit for Gov to have taken us out with 48% of vote.

It would be. Parliament has the power and referendum is not binding. Not good politics though.

It's even worse politics to ignore will of people. Highest turnout in modern history.

Choice is facts vs delusion once again. We know this wasn't a meaningful decision. So pretend it was?

Again, how do you "know it wasn't a meaningful decision"? Impossible to gauge people's true sentiment

empirically, sure. But I don't see lots of articles with Remainers regretting their vote

Anecdotal media analysis trumps 1.7m votes? Tell me you're not really using that as an argument.

equally you cannot empirically *yet* know why those 1.7m people voted Leave. The box may say Leave
