@bazzacollins I think awareness of world views is a necessity; application/adoption of them depends on upbringing and instruction I'd think.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@KevinPocock I disagree. Has no place in schools and should be free choice of parents if they wish to indoctrinate children.2 replies 0 retweets 1 like -

@bazzacollins Couldn't no 'worldview' education lead to a lack/imbalance of awareness and limit other subject comp? Phil, Hist, Arts etc..?1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

@bazzacollins Talking considered, balanced, information provision, not 'indoctrination'. I loved RE and then Philosophy. Not now 'religious'1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@KevinPocock This Christopher Hitchens quote sums up my attitude to religion being taught in schools: http://www.azquotes.com/picture-quotes/quote-if-religious-instruction-were-not-allowed-until-the-child-had-attained-the-age-of-reason-christopher-hitchens-63-8-0890.jpg …3 replies 1 retweet 1 like -

@bazzacollins Interesting. A lot weighs on definition of "instruction" and "age of reason". Hard to know if he suggested practical steps.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes
@KevinPocock Hitchens' general attitude to religion was there should be "a lot less of it". Worth reading his books on the topic.
