iOS is too limited to warrant spending best part of £1k on an iPad Pro. Surface has the edge.

@bazzacollins Totally. It's a massive iPod touch with a pencil, against a portable power PC. If it has to be Apple, get a MacBook Air.2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

@MattJEgan@bazzacollins I'm not overly enthusiastic about Pro, but comparing two devices having not used one of them a bit premature, no?3 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

@kennyhemphill@MattJEgan I've used iOS every day for the past five years, so I've got a fairly good grasp of its limitations :)1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@bazzacollins@MattJEgan But not iOS 9 on an iPad Pro. eg split-screen makes a big difference. You may well be right, but still premature :)1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@kennyhemphill@MattJEgan Split screen doesn't give me Lightroom, full Office, a file system and other things I'd want from a £1k device.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@bazzacollins@MattJEgan true; but if I'm using Lightroom, or even Excel in some cases, I wouldn't want to do it on a 12.9in screen at all.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes
@kennyhemphill @MattJEgan Fair point, although with high-res screens, you can start to get away with 13in for work.
