Jony Ive couldn't be more wrong: bigger iPhone with two-day battery would put me back in the keep net http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/mobile-phones/1402876/ive-bigger-battery-would-make-iphone-less-compelling …

@bazzacollins Sometimes Ive really just doesn't get it. Also, IMO, they shouldn't have let him loose on the OS.

@RyFish Agreed. iOS 8 still a spam sandwich.

@bazzacollins With iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2, it was clearly in part a distraction/marketing technique anyway.

@CraigGrannell Indeed. iPad less of a problem for me - battery life still decent. iPhone is critical.

@bazzacollins For me, iPhone 6 is more cumbersome anyway because of its dimensions. Really didn’t like the one I tried in an Apple Store.

@bazzacollins Mm. I complained about the obsession with thin a while back: http://www.stuff.tv/features/its-time-tech-companies-drop-their-obsession-thin … — It needs to end.

@bazzacollins battery life is one of the main reasons i keep looking at the sony Xperia Z3 to replace my current iPhone 5S

@bazzacollins he does have a point about size and weight but if the size / weight increases were sufficiently small it wouldn't be a problem

@projiuk Given most men stick a phone in their jeans pocket, I don't think extra weight/size would make too much difference.

@bazzacollins not for carrying but in use it's really all a trade off, bulk / weight vs battery life. Again for me the Z3 wins here
