@bazzacollins Apple MShare decline = market growth at low end, where they don’t play? What’s their share of >£499 phones? Also see profits.

@peterjmillard Good points, both. But if you use those graphs to support your story, that at least merits explanation.

@bazzacollins indeed; comparison with 2013 tells different story though, and one which fits with Times chosen narrative. -
@kennyhemphill Samsung's last two flagships have been underwhelming. Not buying the theory that it represents a change of guard yet, though. -
@bazzacollins agreed, but that doesn’t make for much of a story :)

@bazzacollins fabulously misleading graphic, showing static "share" of a growing market. -
@charlesarthur@bazzacollins Steady on chaps - I didn't say it was losing share to Apple unlike most reports yesterday -
@NicFildes@charlesarthur Fair point, although the combination of the graph at the top and first par does rather suggest a swing to Apple. -
@bazzacollins@NicFildes analyst data over the summer showed 5C and 5S dominating sales in places you'd expect SGS5 to - unlike last year. -
@charlesarthur@bazzacollins Quite and nobody seemed convinced anything Samsung has in the pipeline will dent iPhone 6 (despite problems)
