Just caught up with the Apple announcements. Cook's Apple has turned into a follower rather than a leader.
@kennyhemphill @CraigGrannell I'm saying there's nothing in either that will define a market, yes. They add nothing new.

@bazzacollins@CraigGrannell which is exactly what was said about iPhone (no 3G) and iPad (no USB or Flash). -
@kennyhemphill@CraigGrannell No, it wasn't. Everyone gawped at both. They were minor criticisms. Don't rewrite history. -
@bazzacollins@kennyhemphill Not sure I’d say the same for the watch. That’s closer to an iPhone or an iPad, potentially. -
@CraigGrannell@kennyhemphill Can see nothing in the watch that others haven't done already, bar the slightly odd dial controls. -
@bazzacollins@CraigGrannell@kennyhemphill Nothing in feature list, perhaps. Those at launch have said build and UI clearly beat others. -
@adambanksdotcom@CraigGrannell@kennyhemphill UI looks unremarkable from a distance. No compelling use case is the bigger problem. -
@bazzacollins@adambanksdotcom@CraigGrannell no compelling use case was also levelled at iPad. ‘Just a big iPod touch.’
