@bazzacollins I thought Apple dropped DRM years ago....
Hang on Apple, I've paid you for this music once. Can I have it without the DRM on non-Apple devices? Sure, that'll be £21.99, please.

@jackschofield It did. But music bought pre-epiphany is still wrapped in DRM, and can't be removed unless you subscribe to iTunes Match. -
@bazzacollins Ah. Moral: never buy music with DRM on it. I never have.... -
@jackschofield No, I only bought a few albums. Am researching for a feature on switching from Apple. -
@bazzacollins Upgrading to Windows or downgrading to Linux? ;-) -
@jackschofield Now, now. Put the petrol can down, Jack. -
@bazzacollins I was asking because there have been high-profile Mac switchers such as@doctorow http://www.theguardian.com/technology/2011/may/17/computing-opensource … and Mark Pilgrim -

@bazzacollins ouch! I'm still balking at Google Glass £1000 vs approx. $80 cost of manufacturing. £940 per person R & D seems heavy to me. -
@Gadget_AL It's a twat tax

@bazzacollins One reason I will never use iTunes.. though I'm still old school: I buy CDs and to them to my MP3 player. -
@Wulfy7 Indeed. I've only bought a few albums on iTunes over the years.
