It is now almost 48 hours since @eBay inadvertently leaked news that they were hacked, and I haven't received an email warning. Anyone else?
@Sparkes There's a strong argument not to send email warnings. No risk of being confused with phishing attacks.

@bazzacollins It doesn't have to include a link; could just say "visit http://ebay.co.uk ". Also, they promised to send emails. -
@Sparkes As@mikejjennings says, far more effective to simply enforce password change on next visit. -
@bazzacollins@mikejjennings That's not the issue: eBay is yet to inform users directly that their personal details have been stolen. -
