Don't understand how Oxlade-Chamberlain got off. Surely his intent was to stop a goal. Whether it was goal-bound or not is immaterial.
@leemtrobbo It was a clear opportunity to score a goal. Why else would he have handled it? He should escape punishment for poor judgement?

@bazzacollins not necessarily. The player's 'conduct' would still be considered 'violent' whether he connects or not. -
