@bazzacollins Looking back, I honestly think school work is more about keeping children busy rather than actually learning or creating.
School sends her home with spellings, but then doesn't test that she's learnt them. Mistakes in work routinely pass uncorrected.

@PaulOckenden There is that, although I don't think that's the root problem. It's the edict that correcting children is bad for them.
