Have only been using combo for a week, but iPad’s now become pure consumption device, and Surface Pro is the device for getting stuff done
@jonhoneyball …so many sites and services still don’t work properly with Safari on iOS.

@bazzacollins isn’t there a chrome for iOS, or am i mistaken? -
@jonhoneyball There is, but it’s a shell laid over Safari, not a full browser. Can’t use our CMS properly, for example. -
@bazzacollins much to be said, given 500m++ iOS devices out there, to fix the CMS... just saying... -
@jonhoneyball There is, but much depends on Apple. You can’t access file system to upload images, for example. -
@bazzacollins Huh? Recent versions of iOS should support HTTP upload for images etc. -
@PaulOckenden Yeah, sorry. I forgot it was updated for iOS 6. Point still stands - much more awkward to resize images, multitask in iOS. -
@bazzacollins True. I find iOS is better for coffee table tasks (viewing, social media, checking emails, etc), but not for 'productivity' -
@PaulOckenden Agreed. And that’s not a criticism, either. Happy to have a device - with long battery life - dedicated to consumption. - 4 more replies
