Credit to Sky Broadband support - they said they’d double my broadband speed within 10 days and it’s happened overnight.
@MikeHenson No. But being able to out-geek the first level of Sky support got me access to someone who knew what they were talking about.

@bazzacollins - So people who don't complain get a sub-standard service. That sounds typical of Sky. -
@MikeHenson Pretty typical of most big companies. You don’t get best deals unless you gripe and negotiate. -
@bazzacollins - I agree where pricing is concerned but I didn't have to ask They told me I'd get 40mb and thats what they delivered
